Equipped for the unique needs of children
Through Swedish Pediatric Specialty Care, we offer a Pediatric Catheterization Lab and a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit; both are equipped with the most advanced technology available. Other services include fetal cardiology and echocardiography, a noninvasive procedure that uses ultrasound to visualize internal structures of the heart.
Overall, Swedish has created an environment that gives our young cardiac patients the best of two worlds. Pediatric cardiology operates under the umbrella of the world-renowned Swedish Heart & Vascular Institute, while providing each child with an individualized plan of care that is specially designed for our youngest patients.
