With the joy of conception sometimes comes sobering news: your complicated pregnancy may require special attention.
Social work services at the Maternal and Fetal Specialty Center provide comfort and stability during what can be a confusing and stressful experience. We provide psycho-social assessments, counseling services, and assistance with resources to patients receiving care at the Maternal and Fetal Specialty Center.
Social work services available through the Maternal and Fetal Specialty Center include:
- Supportive and adjustment counseling
- Crisis intervention
- Psychosocial evaluations and treatment planning
- Assistance and referrals to local community resources
- Guidance with insurance questions
- Case coordination
