Swedish Thoracic Surgery at Swedish Cancer Institute was established in 2000 in response to a growing need for advanced thoracic surgical care. It has emerged as the largest program in the Northwest, which offers a comprehensive range of thoracic surgical procedures.  Our focus is on the thorough evaluation and tailored surgical treatment in the areas of airway diagnostics, pleural disease, foregut oncology, GERD and swallowing, lung cancer, minimally invasive thoracic surgery, thoracic oncology, mediastinal diseases and hyperhidrosis.
