You’ve known us as Stevens for the past 46 years. But on Sept. 1, 2010, we joined the Swedish family and became Swedish/Edmonds.

Together, we are creating an innovative, regional health-care delivery network that will provide more local services, while giving residents greater access to the latest medical treatments and the comprehensive services of the Swedish system.

Our campus includes

1,400+ staff including clinical and non-clinical personnel

Public Hospital District No. 2

Prior to joining Swedish, the Edmonds hospital (formerly known as Stevens Hospital) was governed by the Public Hopsital District No. 2 of Snohomish County. The District's Board of Commissioners no longer oversees the day-to-day operations at Swedish/Edmonds, but is still involved in some of the major decisions. It also manages the Verdant Health Commission, formerly South Snohomish County Commission for Health, to promote good health in the surrounding communities. Learn more at the Verdant Health web site.
