About Melinda E. Hawkins
Dr. Hawkins is a multiple time recipient of the Seattle Top Doctor Award and most recently received the 2024 Seattle Magazine Top Doc Award. She likes to take a full body approach to patient care, recognizing that the effects of a patient's disease can be taxing to both their physical and emotional well-being.
Dr. Hawkins specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of disease of the colon, rectum and anus. This includes an interest in minimally invasive surgical approaches to colon and rectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease and diverticulitis, pelvic floor disorders such as fecal incontinence, colonoscopy and basic anorectal disorders.
