About Robert J. Klem
Doctor Klem has been a family physician for over twenty years in rural, suburban, and urban environments. As a family physician he truly enjoys partnering with patients in caring for the whole person, as well as the whole family. From newborns to those nearing the end of life, and all those in between, he enjoys not only helping those when they are ill, but thoroughly enjoys an emphasis on illness prevention. He loves the variety that family medicine provides, as well as the opportunity to get to know and care for patients over the long term. The relationships that develop are special, and having the time to spend on prevention and education is especially rewarding.

I have only had 2 visits with Dr. Klem, both have been regarding mental health. He's been very understanding of the fact that even though I have a history with drug and alcohol abuse, I have debilitating panic attacks around my period and I need to have a means of stopping them. He did not treat me like I was drug seeking and he carefully prescribed a limited supply of what effectively actually works for panic attacks.

Once again, I feel like Dr. Klem was in a rush to get me seen and out the door. He seemed kind of disinterested in discussing anything at length. Also (not a criticism of Dr. Klem) I feel like at your clinic Doctors are always coming and going, so I can't establish care with a good doctor I like. All the doctors I've liked have left the clinic.

He also explained info about my cholesterol numbers and when I would be advised to take a statin.
