ALS Program
At Swedish, our multidisciplinary ALS care team consists of physicians, nurses and other care providers who work together to diagnose and treat patients with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. During your appointment, you and your family will stay in one exam room while our providers rotate to visit you during your appointment. You’ll be provided a summary of your care plan, including any medication changes, nutritional guidance, equipment and physical and occupational therapies.
While there is no known cure for ALS at this time, our providers can help you manage your symptoms and offer you the latest technology to preserve function and quality of your life. Watch this video to learn more about our ALS program.
