Providence and Aetna reach agreement

This new contract ensures the continuation of exceptional care for our patients.

We are pleased to announce that Providence and Aetna have reached a multi-year agreement for a new commercial contract in Washington. This new agreement ensures there is no disruption for Aetna members and that patients will continue to have in-network access to doctors, clinics and hospitals in the Providence family of organizations, including Providence Swedish and Kadlec.

We are grateful for Aetna’s collaboration throughout this process to reach an agreement that balances continued access to high-quality, affordable care with fair and timely reimbursements for services provided. We look forward to working together to provide vital services and exceptional care to our patients and communities.
