- Potty training difficulties
- Urinary incontinence
- Post void dribbling
- Nocturnal enuresis (bedwetting)
- Urinary frequency and urgency
- Overactive bladder
- Painful urinationUrinary tract infections
- Vesicoureteral reflux
- Incomplete bladder emptying
To help us better understand your child’s elimination problem, it is important that you complete the Bowel and Bladder Diary and bring it with you to your appointment or fax it to us before your appointment.
Initial evaluation varies depending on the main concern for the visit. Diagnosis testing may include:
- Urinalysis
- Post void ultrasounds
- Renal bladder ultrasounds
- Uroflowmetry testing
- Blood work
- Voiding cystourethrograms
- Abdominal x-rays
We are mindful that children may be sensitive to certain procedures or examinations and are here to work with families to move at the pace most comfortable for them.
A treatment plan will be created, and follow-up visits will be scheduled to ensure progress, success, and any adjustments to the treatment plan if needed. Any further testing, imaging, or referrals will be coordinated by our care providers to ensure a seamless process and effective care planning.
