Most of the patients we see are age 18 years and older, but some younger individuals are seen as well. We also see patients with other tumor genetic syndromes, including von Hippel-Lindau, tuberous sclerosis, Sturge-Weber, Turcot’s and Cowden’s.
The Swedish Neurofibromatosis clinic has been accepted into the NF Clinic Network (NFCN) by the Children’s Tumor Foundation (CTF), which recognizes clinics that provide comprehensive medical care to individuals with NF; foster patient education; and encourage participation in research.
