Mobile Mammography
It’s never been easier to get your mammogram. The Swedish mobile mammography coach will be at various sites throughout the year to perform screening mammograms for women over 40 years old who are not experiencing any new breast symptoms.
The mammography coach is only accessible by stairs. Patients should be able to walk up and down stairs easily and remain standing during their appointment.

The Swedish Mobile Breast Coach services will be on site at various Swedish primary-care clinics throughout the year to perform screening mammography exams.
Each clinic manages their own schedule individually; please call the clinics directly to schedule your appointment.
Swedish West Seattle Internal Medicine
- Every Monday and every other Tuesday until the end of the year,
- Hours 7:40 a.m. - 3:20 p.m.
- The coach will be parked outside of the YMCA on Snoqualmie Ave.

Thank you for choosing Swedish Mobile to take care of your Breast-health needs. It's never been easier to get your mammogram. We offer 3D mammography also known as digital breast tomosynthesis or DBT. We have also incorporated digital computer aided detection (CAD) to enhance our mammography equipment. We would like to thank your organization for taking a proactive approach in women's breast health.
Photo ID card, Insurance card and the first and last name of your current primary care provider are REQUIRED and must be present to begin exam
The mobile unit provides screening mammoqrams onl'y. Any symptoms such as pain, lump, or discharge should be seen in a breast center for a diagnostic mammogram. We do not perform diagnostic exams on the mobile coach.
Please allow up to 20 minutes for the exam. This includes registration, duration of exam and time to change in and out of a gown. Patient's arriving 7 minutes late will need to be rescheduled.
Women over the age of 40 who haVe not had a mammogram in the past year may receive their annual screening on the mobile coach.
If you are experiencing any breast pain, nipple discharge, lumps or are recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Or if you need assistance standing or walking. Please speak with your primary care provider to discuss further recommendations, testing or referrals. If your last mammogram results needed additional imaging, you should be seen at a breast center.
No referral is needed for women over the age of 40 who have not had a mammogram in the past year (365 days). Women aged 35-40, will need a referral for a screening mammogram from their pro\/ider. Women younger than 35 must schedule in the breast center
Yes. By law we are required to send a copy of he results to the patient and their preferred provider. If you do not have a PCP, we cannot create an order.
Mother, sister or daughter have been diagnosed with breast or ovarian cancer in their 40’s or younger. Testing positive to BRCA1/BRCA2. Treated with chest radiation for Hodgkin's disease. High risk patients do NOT need a referral. High risk patient under 35 need to be seen in a breast center.

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate wheelchairs or walkers. The only way inside the coach is via stairs. All patients should be able to easily walk up and down stairs and remain standing during their exam. Should you require additional assistance or an ADA facility, please visit one of our Swedish Breast center locations.
